The agency helps veterans and their families handle the processing of claims for compensation, pension benefits, and educational entitlements, burial benefits; assists in enrolling for medical services and property tax exemptions. It also coordinates a volunteer transportation program for veterans to the VA Hospital in Northport and the VA Clinic in East Meadow.
