Here is a lifestyle checklist for your loved ones and you to discuss and consider:

What lifestyle issues AND PREFERENCES are most important?

Assuming they want to stay on Long Island, HOW do they prefer to age in place?

Do they want to move out of state, become snowbirds or “splitters,” spending several months a year in another location? Or even move abroad to countries with a lower cost of living and lifestyle, such as Mexico or Portugal? If so, see the previous section on “Long-Distance Caregiving".
